Healthy Communities Day
 April 27th & 28th, 2001
Healthy Communities Initiative will be holding Healthy Communities Days, a two-day event celebrating life in St. Joseph County, on April 27 and 28 at the Century Center. It is an opportunity to experience the many assets and resources available, showcasing neighborhoods, people, organizations, recreation and cultural experiences that are part of the fabric of our community. On the 27th, the event will run from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the 28th.

Great Activities at Healthy Communities Days will include:
 A fun and fitness walk will take place on Sat, April 28th at 8:30 a.m.
 Cafe Live Wire, a fully operational Internet café for students with its own mobile cafe cart and an open microphone for entertainment
 Mascot Mania, featuring the Notre Dame Leprechaun, Swoop, Side Line Sam, the Nelson’s Chicken, McGruff the Crime Dog and others
 Healthy Cooking Demonstrations
 The magic of Joseph Spiller
 Performances by Jetta and the Jelly Beans and the Roz Puppets
 Music, Dancing and Aerobic Demonstrations
 Fun, games and activities!

There is no charge to attend HCI Days, although you are encouraged to bring a can of pet or people food per person. These will be collected and donated to the local food bank.
